What a wonderful World Book Day we had in our school! 📚✨
It was fantastic to see so many children dressed up as their favourite book characters. We were blown away by the creativity on display – especially the stunning homemade costumes. The excitement and effort that went into them made the day even more special.
Throughout the day, the children enjoyed taking part in book quizzes, read-alongs, and of course our much-anticipated Masked Reader. There was great excitement as everyone tried to guess who was behind the mask… and the big reveal brought huge smiles when the children discovered it was none other than our fabulous Ms O’Reilly under the inflatable unicorn costume! She kindly took time out of her maternity leave to take part, and the children were absolutely delighted to see her.
The fun didn’t stop there – even the staff joined in the dressing up, with a pack of Dalmatians roaming the corridors and Mrs Coen starring as Cruella de Vil! Safe to say there were plenty of laughs and lots of fun had by all.
