🌍✨ What a truly special day at Scoil Chaitríona! ✨🌍
We were delighted to celebrate our Intercultural Day together with our friends from Gaelscoil na gCeithre Maistrí. It was a day full of joy, learning, and connection as our students took part in a range of wonderful workshops including art, dance, sport, and folklore.
The highlight of the day was when we all came together in the hall to share in music and dance — a beautiful celebration of the many cultures that make up our school community.
A message we shared with the children today was simple but powerful:
“The things that make you different are the very things that make you special.”
We encouraged everyone to be proud of who they are, to celebrate their story, and to never be afraid of standing out.
And of course… the food! 🍲🌎
We were treated to an incredible feast with dishes from all around the world. Our amazing parents truly went above and beyond, showcasing the very best of their cultures with such generosity and pride. We are so grateful for the time, effort, and love that went into every dish.
Days like this remind us how lucky we are to be part of such a diverse, welcoming, and vibrant school community — a place where everyone belongs and where friendships (cara, dost, druh, bondhu, amigo, przyjaciel, sadiq, barát) grow.
